This works. I'm 100% sure of it.
If it doesn't work the first try again making sure to apply enough wax.

How to Clean Scratches in Discs
I'm sure that even the best of us have accidenlty hit out xboxes with the game in it, thus badly scratching the disc inside. You probably recieved the following error
:
When you look at your disc you will probably see some small scratches along with a circular scratch. The circular scratch may fade in and out or it may be constant.I have a faded scratch on my mw2 disc, although it is hard to see in this picture.
The circular scratch is the main problem that is causing your disc not to read. To fix it you are going to need some car wax. I sudgest and will be using Meguiars Tech Wax because it worked the best in past problems.
Tp clean your disc, rub some of the wax on the sponge that came with the wax, or a soft cloth. Rub the wax gently, but firmly enough into the disc so that it will fill the scratches. Rub for about 5 minutes, or untill you think the disc is clean.
After waxing the disc, take another soft cloth and remove all the wax from the disc. The scratches may still be visable, but they are now filled with wax, which lets the laser in yur xbox read the disc.
After cleaning all the wax off, put the game in your xbox and see if it worked!

DUDE

this topic seemed like it was made for me because i just got a ring around my MW2 disc!!!
what a coincidence... ima try this tomorrow -

This usually happens if the xbox is tilted when a game is running, quite a big issue where xbox dont take responsability for it. Should be able to take it to a gaming store where they can remove scratches as far as i am aware.

Yeah, legit equipment works best but some people are cheap, & I know alot of gamers don't have jobs due to their age.

-
Yeah, i mean my bro just got an xbox and hes 10 and my other one got a ps3 and hes 8!
Great thing about the skip dr though is that its cheap (£20ish) and effective

Or you could go down to your local GameCrazy/Gamestop and get it Shaved/Waxed.
Its costs very little money, usually under $5.
Nice Tut Btw.The M16 is better than the Famas, simply because I dislike the French. -
